The reception will take place on Thursday, May 4th from 5pm to 9pm. During the event, you will have the opportunity to learn about the program, hear from the artists about their experiences, and purchase some of the artwork that they created during their time in the program. This event will be hosted by the Artists and Program Facilitators.

ArtRecruits is an art-based workplace skill building program that teaches employment skills in the art studio rather than a classroom. Please join us for an opening reception showcasing artwork created throughout the program.

We are also hosting an open studio event celebrating the power of art to promote cultural understanding, community building, and personal well-being. Creating art in the presence of others can be a transformative experience that fosters hope and strengthens bonds between individuals. Through playful exploration of mixed media materials such as watercolors, acrylic paints, collage, and writing, we will share a creative space that encourages self-expression, connection, and healing. This workshop is open to everyone regardless of previous experience, age, or background.

The workshops will be held from 5pm-9 pm, or until we run out of supplies. We welcome you to join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and connection.
